In order to make a runway trend your own, find an outfit on the runway that you are interested in. When you go shopping, try to look for an outfit that comes close to being what you saw on the runway.

You will find a lot of women modeling women’s dresses on the runway. The dresses are not suited to wear out, but you can find a dress that is similar to what you may have seen the model wearing. Shop at clothing stores that offers good quality clothing in various styles. Try on dresses that are similar to what you have seen.

The dress doesn’t have to fit like the models on the runway. The models are very tall and skinny and if you are short and stocky, you don’t want to find a long dress that comes to the floor. You will need to find a dress that is a couple inches above or below your knees.

When you are choosing a dress, decide on the type of occasion you want to wear it. For example, you may not want to wear a mini baby doll dress to a job interview. You would be better off wearing a cobweb jersey dress. Wear a necklace or bracelet to make the style your own.

Purchase a pair of shoes that will go with the dress. You may want to wear heels with the jersey dress and flip flops with the baby doll dress. You can also wear a hat or sunglasses to complete the outfit.
